“Nothing gets a crowd jumping like horn-driven rock 'n' roll and R & B, which makes Brass Tracks the perfect band...” - Dayton.com

Southwest Ohio based "Brass Tracks Band” was born in 2013 out of an existing band called "Second Shift" who had been entertaining crowds around the country for over 30 years with the classic rock sounds of the 60's and 70's. The "Second Shift" members decided it was time to add a bit of flavor to their sound. They recruited an amazing brass trio, led by internationally renowned saxophone artist Hal Melia which has given this group a whole new dimension. The concept of the band from the beginning was to pay tribute to the great rock, R&B and funk horn bands of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, and this really seems to resonate with the crowd. The sound and power of our horn section just knocks people out. We’re having a blast playing these songs and it’s great to see the crowd enjoy them as much as we do.

Brass Tracks Band has quickly made an impact in Southwest Ohio and our momentum is building fast. In late 2014 we were approached by Ohio Eagle Distribution to take on a sponsorship from Yuengling Light Lager. We accepted and have been Brass Tracks Band (sponsored by Yuengling Light) ever since. We have performed to sold out and standing room only crowds all over Southwest Ohio. We would love to play for you.

Step back in time as "Brass Tracks Band" pays tribute to the sounds of Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, Tower of Power and other great bands of those yesteryears!
